Upon arriving at the new Flip’s location in Rock Island for breakfast, the parking lot was full. Walking into the new building, you’re greeted with the smell of eggs, and hear the sounds of numerous people chatting, and the bacon sizzling.
After getting sat down at our table of choice, we are greeted with menus and waters. I noticed how affordable the food was, and how much variety that there was on the menu. There were many choices of waffles, pancakes, egg meals, and other meal options, with the options consisting of many different varieties of eggs, burritos, bowls, omelets, and more. This was very eye appealing, with there being so many food options!
Overall the scenery is very clean, well organized, and overall a very pleasing space to look at. The tables were cleaned and organized well, with different options of either booths, or tables to sit at all along the room, with decorations all around you, making you more eager to receive your food. While deciding what to order, a server is walking around the whole time filling up waters, without even asking for it to be filled up.
After ordering our food, we had to wait maybe 10 minutes. I ordered two eggs with bacon, and also pancakes to share with a friend. I had never had my food come out so fast! With the food being correct, and also looking delicious, It passed the taste test! The food was a 10/10, leaving me satisfied, stomach full, and eager to go back.
Overall, the new Flip’s location in Rock Island was a hit. I highly recommend taking a friend, and going there for a mid day brunch.
