Atomic is an energy drink place in the Quad Cities. They have four locations between Iowa and Illinois, those being Rock Island, Davenport, and two in Bettendorf. I went in the morning on Thursday, and it wasn’t too packed because it was about 7:15 am. Once I got to the window, the girl was very kind, and had a bright smile on her face. I ordered my drink, and I was at the window for maybe 3 minutes.
Going to Atomic, depending on the time and day, can be extremely busy and packed. They are a drive thru only, and have two lines you can go through. Once you get through the line, the workers are mainly high school and college students, who most of the time are very sweet and welcoming, but there are some you can tell don’t care and just give a very mean vibe. Besides that, the workers are always trying to enjoy their time by having music playing, on holidays they will dress up, and they will talk to customers sometimes.
One element that I love is their rewards program. Every time you go, if you tell them your phone number, you get points back, and every dollar spent is one point, and on Tuesdays it’s double points, (So 5 dollars spent would be 10 points). Another cool addition they do is sticker Monday, usually on the first Monday of the month, for every drink you buy you get a very cute sticker with it.
Lastly their drinks are made well and they make mistakes very rarely, and when they do happen, they are very kind and will fix it. They have tons of flavors and different combinations for energy and coffee. Their prices aren’t bad either, $4.25 for a regular size and $6 for a big one.
Overall Atomic is a great place to stop by if you have time to wait potentially. They are welcoming, not pricey, and very tasty.
