“All of us are dead” is a Korean Zombie Tv show, based in Hyosan High School and the city of Hyosan in South Korea. This is an extremely good show with an amazing cast and an excellent plot, where you really can’t guess what is going to happen next, leaving a surprising element in every episode. The show is on Netflix Korea, but it available to anyone who owns Netflix. It’s not animated, and the episodes approach an hour, and they just got renewed for a second season!
The show starts off with a rainy night, where the group of school bullies are beating Jin-su up on the top of an apartment building, where he ends up running off of the apartment building, and suffering very drastic injuries. Jin-su ended up in the hospital, where his dad takes him, attempting to make him stronger by giving him the virus, which would inevitably spread throughout the school and town, starting the zombie apocalypse. These scenes are very tense, and have a good build up, but don’t feel too long. We meet our main characters, a large group of teenagers with very different personalities, but they have to set aside their differences so they can survive the virus. Our teenagers barricade themselves in the classroom and wait for help to arrive and save them.
At this point, our teenagers have decided to move up to the roof in hopes of being seen by a helicopter, and think that making their way to the roof will be their best chance for survival. These are extremely stressful scenes that leave you on the edge of your seat while they have to manage fighting the zombies and keep the group together. We have now learned there is a hybrid between zombies and humans, where they look like humans, but are zombies, which inevitably leads to Cheong-san’s death, where he is fighting Gwi-nam to get his friends to safety. This scene is so intense, and had me crying and freaking out because he never deserved to die. The remaining six teens get to safety. While walking on the train track, they get taken to a camp for safety.
The show, “All of Us are Dead” is an amazing tv show that keeps you on the edge of your seat for every episode. The tv show is a must watch if you like supernatural tv shows and like gore. I would recommend this tv show to everyone who wants something that’s going to keep you interested.
