Travonna Ferguson, Editor
Travonna is currently a junior at RIHS.
She is currently involved in Symphonic Choir at Rocky
After high school, she plans on “going to college to study nursing. I love helping people, and while there are many careers out there that involves helping people, I think this is the career that I want at the moment. I also want to have somewhat of a side business in Photography once I improve on my photo taking skills.”
She joined Journalism because “Last year, I saw a flier on the wall at school for Journalism. The thing I really paied attention to was the fact that we would get to take pictures, which is a hobby of mine that I want to expand on in the future.”
What does telling Rocky’s stories mean to her? “It is a wonderful opportunity. Many of the students and teachers at Rocky have different stories, and I really appreciate being able to help with telling their stories. It really makes me feel accomplished. I love being able to capture their stories as it’s being written out as well, being able to be a part of capturing their memories and giving everyone something to look back on in the future is an amazing feeling.”
