To the Future Rocky Graduates,

Darian Harding, Editor

To the Future Rocky Graduates,

I wish I could’ve said goodbye to all my teachers. I wish I would’ve known that that Friday would’ve been my last day inside the school. That I was going to have to graduate through a computer all alone instead of getting to celebrate with my class in that hot TaxSlayer Center, surrounded by joy and excitement. Senior year is supposed to be our year. You’ve got Homecoming for the last time, the elementary walk through, senior night with your friends and your sports team, prom, senior skip day that everyone chooses to ignore, and graduation. Not to mention all the little moments you have with your class, don’t forget about the student sections, don’t forget about that fun little fair they have in the beginning of the year where they have hot dogs and you get to check out all the booths and tables to see if you want to join any club, I think was some corny name like Walk The Rock or something like that. If I could go back and do everything again, I would. If I would’ve known that my whole life would get flipped upside down and twisted, I would’ve tried to prepare myself for the heartache I would face. The only thing that I can say to the future graduates of any year, is to appreciate the time in your life that you spend in school. It doesn’t last forever. Have fun and don’t take school for granted, it can be ripped away from you at any second.

Sincerely, Darian Harding,

Class Of 2020.
