Stressed out

The Coronavirus pandemic can cause everyone a great deal of stress. There are so many uncertainties in the world right now that it can be hard to plan for anything.

The thing that is causing me the most stress at this time is the uncertainty about my future. I am ready to move on to the next chapter in my life, which is college. Before this pandemic, I was super excited to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas in the fall. I would be staying in a dorm and living out the whole college experience. But now, I don’t even know if colleges will be having on campus classes at that time. This is stressful because if colleges decide to continue online in the fall, then I will not be going to UNLV. But if colleges open up, then I will. The uncertainty of it all is stressful because my college is so far away, so there is a lot of stuff that needs to be planned, and it’s like we can’t even do that because we don’t know what’s going to happen. The deadlines for a lot of college stuff is coming up and like I said, we do not know what is going to happen, so it’s like ,do we submit the housing application yet or not.

I know a lot of other seniors are in the same boat as me, so that calms me down a little bit. The Class of 2020 has had to overcome so much already because of this pandemic, so I just hope and pray that everyone’s college plans work out. I just keep telling myself that no matter what I will get my degree. Hopefully, we will know what the colleges plan to do in the fall sooner than later in order to plan for the moving. Hopefully, everyone gets to enjoy college life as planned!
