Challenges during COVID-19

During this difficult time, there’s been a lot of challenges and a lot of changes have happened. My schedule has changed, the way I learn has changed, and even the way I socialize has changed. One of the biggest challenges for me has been staying in the house and not being able to see any of my friends. I’m able to communicate with them through social media or FaceTime, but I miss seeing them and hanging out with them.

Another challenge that I’ve faced is doing school through google classroom. Since I’m not physically attending school, I’ve let myself slack on assignments, and sometimes it’s hard to learn new material when your resources have become limited. I’ve dealt with this by asking my peers and classmates for help, and also helping them in return because I know most of them are going through something similar. Also I’ve dealt with this by setting certain days to do assignments for a certain class. That way I don’t feel like I’m doing a lot of work in one day and I’m able to do all or most of my classwork. These changes have been hard to adjust to and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to them, but hopefully I won’t have to.
