Cheyeane is currently a senior at RIHS. 

She is currently involved in track and field as a pole vaulter and sprinter. 

After high school, she plans to go to college and work towards a degree and continue my track and field career. 

She joined Journalism because “It was recommended to be through an upperclassmen and through Mrs. Vens back when I was a sophomore, and I thought it sounded like a fun opportunity.” 

What does telling Rocky’s stories mean to her? “It means sharing memories for people to help them live on. It’s bringing pride and happiness to share the good that surrounds Rock Island High School.”
