Jade is currently a seniors at RIHS. 

She is currently involved in football cheer and Journalism. 

After high school, she plans to “attend Western Illinois University- QC to double major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education as well as an endorsement in ESL.”

She joined Journalism “to have the ability to express my creativity and build an unforgettable yearbook for my Senior year.”

What does telling Rocky’s stories mean to her? “To me, telling Rocky’s stories is an important part of its history. It helps students who aren’t a part of certain teams or clubs understand how they work and the meaningful parts of them. Telling Rocky’s story means Telling its history and all of its little quirks.”

Mrs. Hayek, Rock Island High School English teacher's desk looks crazy to everyone that walks in, but she thinks it's good for her. She states, “It might look like a hot mess to somebody else, but I know exactly where everything is when someone asks me.”
